Three Principles, Syd Banks
Even though Syd Banks has passed away, meeting him was a powerful experience for me.
I listened to *The Inside Out Revolution* by Michael Neill during my morning walk. He talked about the Three Principles created by Syd Banks, a Scottish welder from Canada. Michael shared the story of Syd's moment of enlightenment. Suddenly, I felt a surge of energy like lightning going through my body. I stood there trembling and started to cry. My emotions changed into a strong feeling of love, joy, and excitement. I regained my composure and continued walking, ensuring no one saw me.
As I walked, I felt a deeper connection to Syd. I had two memories: I thought he worked with my grandfather, and I believed I had met him when I was younger. I clearly saw his face in my mind, and I became convinced he had helped my dad during his year-long rehab on Vancouver Island.
I was excited to get home and talk to my mom to confirm these memories. My mom was trying to understand my strange experiences, and she worried about me. "Were you scared?" she asked. "No way, it felt euphoric," I replied. Although she couldn't confirm our connection to Syd, I realized it didn't matter. This was another critical moment in my spiritual journey. It was amazing when I confirmed his image matched what I had seen.
I enjoy watching videos of Syd's teachings and reading about his journey through enlightenment. He continues to lead me toward peace through the ideas of Mind, Consciousness, and Thought.
